This course includes an introduction to selected ethical systems, with an emphasis on social, moral religious and biomedical issues. It will provide students with the foundation necessary to evaluate, analyze, and respond to ethical issuers in our society and in the global community we belong. Also it will help the students in answering some fundamental questions about life and what makes it worth living--Questions like what makes an action "right," or what makes us happy. The students will be provided with “rational tools” that they will find useful in making sound moral or ethical choices.
