This course introduces students to the fundamentals of accounting, focusing on the basic principles and practices that form the foundation of financial reporting. Topics covered include the accounting cycle, preparation of financial statements, and the differences between cash and accrual accounting. Students will gain hands-on experience with journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances, preparing them for more advanced studies in accounting and related fields. By the end of the course, students will understand how to accurately record and report financial information.
