Small Business Management introduces the nature of entrepreneurship. It provides students with a background of the different skills required for small business management. The course focuses on challenges and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs, the environmental impact on small business, identifying and describing the types of agencies that offer assistance to small businesses. The course also focuses on the following topics: The characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, types of business organizations, operations management, globalization, e-commerce, marketing research, financial management, and developing a business plan.
